It began with running shoes and early morning smiles—and ended with a stronger, more connected school community.
On May 16, 2025, ProEd Global School brought together students, families, and staff from both its Umalas and Nuanu campuses for the annual Cross Country event, hosted this year at our stunning Nuanu grounds. Designed as more than just a sports day, the event was a celebration of movement, effort, and unity across our two campuses.
The morning kicked off with registration and a full-school warm-up, setting the tone for what would be an energetic and inspiring few hours. As students made their way to the starting line, there was an undeniable energy—fueled by anticipation, encouragement, and the simple joy of being active together.
The races were challenging but filled with heart. Each runner, no matter their pace, was met with cheers from their peers, teachers, and families. Some students ran to beat their personal bests, others to complete the course—but all of them crossed their own finish lines with pride.
After the final race, the community gathered for the announcement of winners, celebrating not only speed and stamina, but also sportsmanship and school spirit. Yet the true success of the day wasn’t measured in times or rankings—it was in how the event brought people together.
Led by Mr. Silvio and Ms. Niar, and supported by a wider team of staff working seamlessly behind the scenes, the event was a shining example of what makes ProEd special: collaboration, care, and a willingness to go the extra mile—literally and figuratively.
Cross Country was more than a run. It was a reflection of our values in motion. It showed our students that effort matters. That cheering for each other builds stronger connections. And that at ProEd, we move forward together.
